Kelly Bridge - Goods Shed

This followed a similar construction pattern to the station building although having fewer walls and window apertures, took a little less time to complete.  The doors were scratchbuilt from plasticard, having had the surface scored to produce ‘planks’ and a light sandpapering to produce a timber effect.  The wooden office on the side is the rear extension from a Dapol engine shed kit!

The basic shell, in the approximate position on the layout to gauge the sense of proportions.

Stonework complete, and a small loading platform now assembled to provide the correct height.

The finished building, dressed with various goods awaiting shipment, men working and a glow from the light inside (which helps high-light the figures and the scene in general).
