A control panel was needed, as there would not
be sufficient space on the corner of the board and I was conscious of the space
in which I had to adhere to. I came up
with a solution of a hinged control panel, which would allow access to the
wiring and could be pushed up and out of the way when not in use. This again was made for me by my good friend
(although becoming less so after keep asking favours !) and he put this
together. The facia is made of hardboard
to allow the switches to be drilled in.
The basic structure.
This was primed with pva glue, and spray painted with white car paint to
produce a nice clean surface.

panel, with mimc diagram, point and signal switches, controllers etc.
